Bild und Macht. Zeppelin-Fotografie im Fokus l 6. Juni 2025 - 12. April 2026
Die Ausstellung beleuchtet erstmals die Bedeutung des Zeppelins als visuelles undsymbolisches Motiv in der Fotografie. Die interdisziplinäre Ausstellung untersucht, wie Bilder vom Zeppelin in verschiedenen politischen Kontexten zur nationalen Selbstrepräsentation und Machtausübung eingesetzt wurden und fragt in einer Zeit, in der Bilder allgegenwärtig sind, nach der Macht der Bilder, ihrer Manipulation und ihrem Wahrheitsgehalt. Internationale zeitgenössische Künstler*innen wie Aziza Kadyri, Christelle Oyiri und dem Kollektiv Ebb.global & Neïl Beloufa erweitern die Ausstellung mit neuen Werken, die speziell hierfür entwickelt wurden und einen queer-feministischen und nicht-westlichen Blick auf das Thema werfen.

Image and Power. Zooming into Zeppelin Photography l June 6, 2025 - April 12, 2026
Image and Power. Zooming into Zeppelin Photography is the first exhibition to explore the Zeppelin as both a visual and symbolic motif in photography. It examines how images of the Zeppelin were used in various political contexts fornational self-representation and the exercise of power. In a time when images are omnipresent, the exhibition also raises questions about the power of images, their manipulation, and their claim to truth. International contemporary artists Aziza Kadyri, Christelle Oyiri, and the collective Ebb.global & Neïl Beloufa will expand the exhibition with newly commissioned works, offering queer-feminist and non-Western perspectives on the topic.
