An art historian with considerable experience of the Berlin art scene, Alexandra consults on projects ranging from larger retrospectives to solo exhibitions of contemporary art. Using her strong links to the international art industry, Alexandra advises ARTPRESS clients on issues such as optimising positioning and visibility through strategic media contact and effective communication.
PR & Social Media Manager
As an art historian and social media strategist, Amelie Öfner knows how to combine digital and classical public relation activities. In addition to managing strategic media contacts, she oversees and produces content for social media channels of the agency and our clients. Amelie Öfner understands the world of art both online and offline.
PR Manager | focus Northern Europe
The art historian and musician with a Master’s degree in Northern European Studies is familiar with the art and music scene in Berlin and Northern Europe. After living in Finland and Norway she now supports the agency by managing and counselling Northern European projects and biennials.
Romana is a student of publishing- and communications science as well as art history at the Free University of Berlin and is supporting ARTPRESS in their public relation activities.
Jens Wolter particularly takes care of social media for ARTPRESS and our clients, the presentation of press material, the planning of events and their documentation by photo- and videoproductions.
Stefanie holds a Master’s degree in Communication Management and has experience of working in the media industry; she supports ARTPRESS in their public relations activities.
Shirin is studying Art history and North American Studies at the Free University of Berlin and, using her organizational talent, she assists with public relations activities.
Founder and CEO
Ute Weingarten founded ARTPRESS in 2004 in order to concentrate the fruits of her long years of experience in the art sector. She became active in the international art business while still an art history student at the Ecole du Louvre and the Sorbonne. After moving from Paris to Berlin in 1996, her activities included managing the Galerie Arndt & Partner and she dedicated herself to the field of art consulting. Engaged in vigorous dialogue with national and international representatives from the media, galleries and curators, Ute Weingarten is constantly developing new and interesting forms for communicating art. The energetic networker regularly organises on and off-site art events. Upon request, Ute Weingarten gives talks as an expert at symposia and workshops.
ARTPRESS collaborates with PIERRE LAPORTE COMMUNICATION from Paris, BE CULTURE Brussels and STUDIO ESSECI from Padua.
For graphical services ARTPRESS works together with StudioKrimm, an agency specialised in graphic concepts and solutions.
